A very good morning all. To quote Biglad - its Marti Pellow here. I've just had to go out and rescue the upturned pots and some of them were really heavy so that wind must have been a killer.

For those of you still a little short on water, I hope that today your gardens get some relief.

Morning Ruby. You have SUN? I am watching the wind thrashing my potted acers in the front garden. The wind is coming from a slightly different angle and I don't often see this happening.

Good morning.  It’s brrrrr very cold this morning.  I’m washed and dressed and just about to have breakfast and the first cuppa of the day.  Lily it’s good you checked your appointment.  LB I love your over the gate planters.  The knitted LOD are great.  Biglad a good effort to bring back the planters.  Hazel great youre getting your bike serviced.

SGL, I have looked for a pattern for those figures and I found one for Ted Hastings but that was specifically one to cover a chocolate orange i.e. short and plump! I have patterns that I can adapt though so watch this space - I'm on a mission! Those figures were knitted by a lady in Ireland and they are being auctionied off for a charity. The bidding is still in process and each character is well into three figures already - not sure about the wee donkey!

Morning everyone,  its blowing a hoolie here. It was howling during the night and the rain was battering against the window.  Stopped raining at the moment. Glad I don't have to go out today now.
I'll join you in a cuppa Rosie ☕☕

Morning RosieBB and SGL. Gosh yes SGL, you could have been having a very wet journey to have your injection. Fingers crossed that next Tuesday is drier.

Good morning all. Raining again here the garden will be grateful. Sister starts new job today. Hoping it all goes well for her.
My second milk delivery arrived bright and early. I ordered some peat free compost too, so handy to have it delivered.

Oops sorry LB missed your other post. Yes saw that the knitted figures were being auctioned. I'm sure there will be a wee donkey in a nativity knitting pattern. I bet there will be someone that brings out a LOD pattern too soon. Look forward to seeing your little people.
Yes let's hope next Tuesday is better weather.
