Don’t remember seeing that episode Dove.
It's called 'Swan Song' @Pat E ... well worth seeing, and there's some live concert footage too.

    Eh up.

Beautiful day here, but I have to go shopping, need a new suit for nephews wedding.

Mum took a turn for the worse last night, so I am just hoping it will not be too long now, little sis is with her.

    Morning all.

Is your Mum in the new home yet @punkdoc? Good that little sis can be with her, must be a relief for you.

I slept very well last night. Think I'm too late to join @D0rdogne_Damsel for coffee, but I like a lot of milk in my coffee.

Off to the local small GC to get some tomato plants, forecast is early 20s and mild nights for the next 2 weeks.

Thinking of you all @punkdoc ... especially Little Sis 🤗

It's a glorious morning here ... but there's ice on the birdbath nearly 3mm thick! (yes folks, I measured it!)  None on the pond tho', which is lower down ... I've been out there watering with our new retractable hosepipe ... the last one lived for about 15 years being left outside winter and summer, so we got the same again ...   The new version is a bit fancier, with a guide for the hose when rewinding ...I'm a bit of the 'if it aint broke don't fix it' school, and the other one was fine without such refinements, but this one seems to work ok so far.  :crossed

I've finished our niece's birthday card so will post it tomorrow, and supper tonight is pasties from the freezer, so today I will be mainly sowing the runner beans in the loo roll tubes and seeing what else needs sowing ...

Sorry about your Mum, Punkdoc. It must be very uncomfortable for her.

Yes, @Busy-Lizzie, she moved to the home on Monday, sis says it is lovely, with delightful staff, which is as much as we can hope for.

Morning all, Not often I can say that as I don't normally post till p.m.  (not an early bird).  Had to get moving quickly this morning as we had someone come to measure up for replacement kitchen doors.  We've sorted out the worktops and hopefully they will be replaced on 5th May.
Lovely and sunny here but very cold. Didn't see any frost but worth putting the fleece on, will keep it on for tonight as the forecast isn't good, but after that it seems to warm up.
Head looking much better @Pat E hope the physio will sort your neck out soon.
Only ever worn a hat to a wedding once, never again,  I looked like I had a dead magpie on my head.  They just don't suit me, or Firstborn for that matter.  Secondborn, on the other hand, looks fab in any hat that goes on her head.
Not sure what I'l be up to today, there's talk of a trip to B&Q to look at brackets.  What an exciting life I lead.

Oh dear!  OH has gone to work and I had some paperwork and online stuff to do ... and then I succumbed ...... I've managed to avoid opening the Crocus emails for ages ... and then I thought, just a peek won't do any harm ... and I saw Dahlia Waltzing Matilda 😍  Now there's one with my name on it.

That's not the Crocus picture ... I did a lot of online googling ... this looks more like most of the pics I could find ... I hope it's pretty accurate.  Just the thing for a big pot on the terrace to give it a bit of pzazz

Morning all.  I've been up for ages, promise!  All my babies are watered, turned, put outside. Garden inspection tour completed.  It is calling me but today I have to do computer work as I have a few things to add to a website I run for the town's business association and I have some jewellery repairs to do. (A service I offer as part of my jewellery business. Well, I say business - I don't sell much!). Hopefully I'll get an hour outside later.  @Pat E - your cut is healing amazingly well! Oh - and I like the idea of wearing a hat for the wedding!  Had a recent zoom with some chums and we all wore a hat to hide our awful lockdown hair.

I'm pleased that @punkdoc's Mum is in a lovely home.

That's a gorgeous dahlia @Dovefromabove, quite understand the temptation!

I've been to the GC and bought a honeysuckle Belgica, tomato, cucumber and courgette plants, calibrachoa x3, and a pot of Basil. Now for some lunch then out in the garden.
