Morning folks.  Another cool start here, but clear sky and sunny.

I might spend a bit of time on the front veranda to warm up before our next trip to town (Hubby’s toenail cutting appt). All these various things that happen as a result of the chemotherapy and medication. 😡

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Hope everyone’s feeling ok this morning and that today goes well @Hostafan1 😊
All looks calm outside ... 2C with pink-tinged clouds and shafts of sunlight, but apparently we can expect some precipitation shortly ☔️

    Morning again.
I managed to get a bit more sleep now up and ready to go.
    Devon.
  • Excited this morning as my 600lts of compost will be arriving today for my new raised beds made by OH, my first attempt at veg. Before I fill them up, I've lined the bottoms with cardboard (over weeded soil in the former pig pen so should be good). Shall I remove most of the cardboard or will the veg - carrots, spuds, beetroot etc grow through?

Think you should be fine leaving the cardboard @SamBevington ..... thats what Charles Dowding (patron saint of No Dig) recommends.

Yet another frost here .....bored of this now ❄️.  Off volunteering today ....I wonder what I’ll be doing 😀😀

Hope your first day back goes well @Hostafan1.  Will be nice to see colleagues again

    Good morning to you all.

Sunny here, cold still but no wind (hooray)!!.  Think I'll start putting my seedlings out for the hardening off process.

  • Morning all,

I was happily wandering around the garden in my pj's this morning, checking the flowers and topping up the bird feeders when a car swung into the drive and a chap (masked) jumped out and said he'd arrived for his holiday let.... What holiday let??? Thankfully he hadn't managed to book the place in error, he'd just got the wrong house, lots of activity of later, another car arrived to meet him and off they went, hopefully to the correct holiday gite. Way too much human contact before I had even had my coffee, nevermind get dressed.

A day in the garden for me again today, weather is looking lovely.

Have a good day all. :)
