I am so very sorry @punkdoc and hope that with restrictions easing you'll be able to go and see her sooner rather than later. Long journey to do without pitstops tho. Has your sister been able to see her or get news?
@Pat E I assume you'll be up and about soon. Hope the head isn't hurting too much today.
Feeling weary here so off to bed soon. Sweet dreams all.

I’m definitely taking t easy folks. Thanks for all your lovely good wishes.
Day 2 photos.
I think that lovely Dr in CAS should take up embroidery. 😁.
I’m feeling ok. Just lying around on the lounge chair. I’ve company today as our son came down yesterday with Pixel. She’s asleep on the head of my chair. It was all a mixup yesterday because son had already planned to come down for more work on a project he is working on, so Hubby had to tell him by mobile when he was already on his way. Threw his plans out, but they are out there now doing things that I’m not particularly interested in.🙄
it’s not very sunny today, just a bit overcast. I don’t expect to be outside. Bye all.
I do hope you are ok @Pat E you certainly gave yourself a really good bash didn't you. I am glad you are being taken care of and great timing with Pixel coming to comfort you. I bumped my head on a branch of a tree the other day, drew blood and have quite a bump, but it all feels rather insignificant compared to your war wound.
@punkdoc, awful situation you are in with your poor mother, I really feel for you. I hope you get some news today.
There is a frost this morning, but thankfully not as bad as expected. I did spend about half an hour wrapping the more vulnerable plants up last night, so much young spring growth out there now, much more vulnerable than a few weeks back.
I was very pleased and surprised yesterday to get a credit note from Promesse de Fleurs for some plants that didn't survive. I only sent the email on a whim, I didn't think they would do anything, I have had the plants for 6 weeks already, but within a couple of hours the credit note came through. It does give me confidence to buy with them again.
Enjoyed the bike ride with Charlie very much yesterday, we were out for about 2 hours, a bit chilly but lovely and sunny. He had planned the route around country lanes away from all traffic, we saw lots of spring lambs and calves and there are a lot of lakes around here so all very pretty.
Now, I am off to peruse the Promesse de Fleurs website and see what I can get with my credit note. I should just replace my dead plants, but I think I need a little mooch around first.....
Hope the weather improves for you all, have a good day all.

Good morning to you! Sunny and crisp here. Not as cold as you are, but 10°C less than last week is quite a drop.
@Pat E I would imagine that your head is probably aching and feeling tight with those stitches. Are you taking something for the headache?
@D0rdogne_Damsel A 2-hour bike ride - must have been enjoyable meandering around. No hills? Shame you couldn't stop for a menthe à l'eau!! Hoping the cafés and restaurants will open soon. Some open air theatre/concerts wouldn't go amiss this summer.
I hope the weather in Blighty hasn't damaged all your hard work.
Tui, my headache is only mild through the day. I’m on 2 Panadene forte of a night and that seemed to work last night. I’m not moving around much though. 🙄😃

Thats a very neat bandage you have there @Pat E
looks like you’re being well taken care of ... sounds as it Pixel is good company. 😊
It looks cold out there ... flat and north facing roofs and car roofs are all covered with snow. ❄️
