    Oh dear @Obelixx  😦
Has she gone broody and is nesting in a quiet corner somewhere?  Hope she turns up safe and sound tomorrow 🤞

We'll have to wait and see @Dovefromabove but it's a worry as it's so very cold out there already.   They do have 6 nesting boxes plus the perch and the poo shelf below which one or two always sleep on so no need to go off hiding anywhere else.

They were all present and correct at 6:30 when I went to pick PSB for our dinner and all in the pen.  Normally they tuck themselves up by sundown and we just have to do a head count and close the door.   Who knows how their brains work tho?

I hope you find her Obelixx. I think you would have heard the ruckus if a fox had been sneaking around.

I still in bed. Son has not left yet, but muttering about whether to go home of not. Pixel is sniffing around the Grevillea where the larger skinks usually disappear to.  When I called her she gave me a considering look and then went back to sniffing.  Hmmm.  I don’t think she’ll push through the dense lower branches. Hope not.

Good morning.  Very cold here with -1°C.  I hope my seedlings in the unheated glasshouse have survived.  The sun is up and today promises to be windless.

@Obelixx  I hope that stray lass comes back.  Very strange as if there had been a fight, you would have seen feathers around.  She may have found a spot to nest.

It’s that time of year 🐣

    Hope the sore head is easing now @Pat E ☕️ 🫖 🍪

Morning all 😀.  Hope chook returns to the roost today 🤞🏻

Respite from frost here this morning, but still pretty cold 🥶.  Digging out my thermals for my day of volunteering.  It was great last week ......so much to do, but so satisfying to do a job where you can see where you’ve been 🤣

  •  Good morning all,

Lovely here again, a bit chilly, no frost but only just escaped it. I had fleeced everything just in case. I will be so glad when the chance of frost has passed, it's areal performance morning and night.

I do hope the chicken turns up @Obelixx, poor thing.

Your volunteering job sounds very uplifting @chicky, hope it's not too chilly.

I'm off on a bike ride again today, I have bought a new bike too, the other one was really on it's last legs (or wheels) and we had such fun I thought it was worth the investment. I must say the young man in the shop who helped me with the purchase was extremely helpful and thorough in explaining all the different benefits and features of the choices. I was able to test them all too. Quite a day out for me.

Work is also starting on the shady well area today, I am very nervous about it actually, it needs a new roof and I am so worried about someone falling down it whilst working on it. Of course they are taking all precautions but the thought of it makes me shudder.

Hope everyone is feeling a bit better today, especially @Hostafan1 @punkdoc and @Yviestevie

Right, off out on my bike, catch you all later. :)
