Morning @Hostafan1 ... I bet your east wind isn’t as chilly as ours ... straight off the North Sea brrr but at least we have the slight possibility of a little rain at the end of the week ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I haven’t turned the TV on because it’ll all be about Anzac Day, not that I don’t appreciate the sacrifices made years ago, but sometimes I wonder when they’ll move on.
Morning all. We have some rain forecast for the end of the week too. 24° for this afternoon, a bit cooler than yesterday.
@Pat E, it must be hard not having mains water. Do you have to buy bottled water for drinking? Is there enough rain water for washing? I seem to remember you have huge tanks for rain water - or was that someone else?
When we first came to France in 1985 we bought an old converted watermill. It had spring water but the water tank that it collected in wasn't even big enough for a decent bath and we had 4 young children. OH rigged up an outside shower and they swam in the river in summer then had a quick shower. It was a pretty house but cold, too far from OH's dental practice and too small for a big family. The children loved the river but the mill stream was a source of worry. I was glad when we sold it. It was for sale last year, the owners had extended and done it up out all all recognition and was 5 times the price we sold it for. It isn't on Rightmove anymore, I wonder if it sold?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning folks,of course you Beat me Dove,First comes to mind, good wishes to Punkdoc, then Pat. Anyone else who needs them and a virtual hug here I am,! Went to bed 9.30 shattered,so up at 2. Sleep experts say if you sleep around 5 hours,go to bed 5 hours before your get up time,I can't last till then. Was up till 4,(promise you won't tell the old man) suddenly realised I had left out the 2 hanging baskets I planted.Whipped out and put them in the green house! It's a good job there wasn't a frost, because we took everything out of the green houses to give a good soaking and 4 got left out up the top!!! Whew

Another lovely sunny day, but we still have the chilly East wind.

We have a 30% chance of a shower on Weds.

Looks another cracker but a spot of rain at some point in the next few days would be welcome.
Need to restrain my seed planting urges for a bit as I seem to have reached capacity
Have a lovely Sunday
