I hope it's not a rat @Biglad. Good luck @Hostafan1, that's a long day, may all your customers be friendly.
I'm feeling like joining @D0rdogne_Damsel in the fed up corner, but maybe she's feeling better today. I'm missing OH. Was without him for 3 months last year, drat Covid and I probably won't see him before June, drat Covid and Brexit. Oh well, back to painting the tool room now that the electrician has removed the builder's stuff that was leaning on the wall. Keeping busy helps.

I can completely understand your fed up ness @Busy-Lizzie, your situation is terrible. I painted the deck at CdeG yesterday (2nd coat) and despite being horribly windy, it was good to be focused and active, made me feel useful, although the blue overalls certainly couldn't be classed as smart dress.
@Hostafan1 good luck on your long day, I'm sure all your regular customers will be pleased to see you again.
Can't help you @Biglad, my biggest problem at the moment is voles I believe, I'm on a constant mission to deter them.
@punkdoc, hugs to you again, I hope everything can be resolved soon.
Lovely here again, but still chilly. Not quite sure what I am doing today, I may find a sheltered corner and sort out my seedlings, I have managed to end up with too many now, but they may well not all survive, depends on my success with the voles.
Shock, horror too, greenfly on my rosebuds already!

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Hugs for @Hostafan1 and @Busy-Lizzie 🤗 Another bright morning with sparkly frost on the roofs. It feels like an old fashioned April, like in my childhood, with all these frosts.

Thank you both. I would just like to go and have a cup of tea with a friend but we are in confinement. I suppose there are up days and down days in the normal run of things anyway.

Aha good morning to you too @D0rdogne_Damsel ... you snuck in there 😂 I’m sure the overalls were suitable for the occasion ... being dressed appropriately is the height of elegance 😉

I can't say how many times it has crossed my mind to invite friends over for dinner and then had to forget the idea with the 7pm curfew and restictions, it has just gone on for so long, it does get you down.
I presume it is because of the inheritance laws that you haven't married 'officially' @Busy-Lizzie, you are a much kinder person than me. I think at this stage in your situation I would be doing what makes me happy, and not worrying about the future wealth of my offspring, I do appreciate it's not that simple or easy though. It just seems such a shame that you and your OH are having to spend so much precious time apart.

More Hugs for you both @punkdoc.
Up for my first 12 hour shift in several weeks. A little nervous TBH , made worse by not sleeping well.
I hope it's not a rat @Biglad.
