Luckily this is little Sis, who has been doing everything for Mum. Middle Sis has been the useless one. I don't suppose she will bother traveling to see Mum.

Hello Forkers. Started cool but not frosty as there are some clouds about. I'm on pantry cupboard cleaning and sorting till lunchtime and then out to play when it's warmer. OH is doing a tax return.
Hope you have a lovely day @WonkyWomble doing things just for you. Hope all goes well for the stepsons but it's going to be a long haul for both. And you.
Great news @punkdoc and maybe you'll even get to see her as Oxford is closer isn't it? Well done little sis. Just ignore t'other.
Have a good day everyone and don't fry your brain @chicky. Mine tends to buzz for days when I learn new stuff.

No, sadly further away @Obelixx, but hope I might get to see her somehow. Apparently they do outside pods for visiting, so that might be a possibility. Little sis is going to see what is possible. We both agreed that a home near her was the best solution, and this one is only 10 minutes away, rather than the hour and a half she has been driving several times a week.

For some reason I thought your mum was up in Scotland @punkdoc but definitely better for her to be nearer supportive Sis who is actively caring than moany Sis.
Pantry cupboards now sorted and a few items ditched but need to gird loins and do the open shelves which hold 5 times as much stuff. I have found some treasures and some mysteries. Anyone ever cooked with or eaten molokheya? Tunisian apparently.

Quick pop in. I've been busy doing housework and paperwork, but it's all done now so I'm off out to the garden.
Unfortunately and for no apparent reason Charlie is ill, very off colour, tired and poorly tummy. He got up, had a shower, made an effort to eat some toast, then disappeared to the loo in a hurry and has gone back to bed. Not like him, but he's asleep now, so I'll leave him and see what he's like later.
Good news regards your mum @punkdoc, the pod possibility sounds positive, fingers crossed.
Hope you are not aching too much @LivMarie98, it's usually the day after that's worse.
Right, must get outside, lots to do. The birds are deafening at the moment, never heard them so excitable before, good background noise for garden work though, makes me smile. 😊

Good news about your Mum @punkdoc. I hope she likes the nursing home. It will be a relief to know she is being well looked after.
Think I'll mow the grass today and sow some radishes.
