Hi again folks. You’re right about Hubby and the fire brigade, Obelixx. It’s up to him though, not me, although it’s very tempting sometimes.
Time to flop in front of the tele now. 😃

Bread out of the oven, kitchen scrubbed and polished until sparkling, another load in the machine, Popmaster done, coffee made, now the household monthly accounts to do ... won’t take long ... we’re pretty organised. 😇

    Morning all.

I've been to the tile shop and chosen more tiles. The lady was very helpful and had a selection to show me, having made sure they were available. The ones I've chosen are Portuguese and have motifs in colour but they look as though they've faded patchily over centuries of being walked on. I thought they would go well with this old stone house.

Off to plant potatoes, then to paint the second coat in the study.

Hosta, I hope someone can help you soon. Very frustrating .  My daughter is having similar problems with the housing mob.  😡

I really don't know what to say @Hostafan1. These are totally different to the problems we have been through with Mum, but with the same general feeling, that no issue seemed to have a solution.

    Afternoon folks,
It's a lovely sunny day here but a bit on the chilly side.  I've been potting on seeds in the conservatory.  I'm trying to be good and not pot on every seedling that has germinated but try and work out what I will need plus a few extra.
Still have lots of sowing to do but there's plenty of time.
I've fleeced the raised bed because we are due a few chilly nights and the raddish and lettuce have germinated.  I'm worried about watering them, I don't want them to dry out but watering when a cold night is due might not be the best thing.  If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Hugs for Hosta and anyone else who needs them.

Water in the morning once frosts have past?  Then it can soak in and be absorbed as needed before the next frost tho under the fleece they'll have a degree or two of protection.
