Hope you got some more sleep @Hostafan1 ... and hugs to @punkdoc and all who have difficult times.
@“Nanny Beach" I could only find D. Waltzing Matilda in stock at Crocus and even with their current offer of 20% off it cost an arm and a leg ... but you have an extra £25 a month now so you can treat yourself. As well as those gorgeous flowers it has really dark foliage ... magic ❤️

Haha,oh yeah Dove, friend asked after said person, just said haven't seen him of course, bit different on here, but thought with the locals probably best to avoid the "Chinese whisper" scenario!!!
Just think,if I had sorted out the situation before, what I could have bought, last time I got paid was last summer,so much more than £150, as long as I learned from this!
Good morning all, beautiful sunny day here today, I think it will be quite warm! Hugs to you @punkdoc such a difficult time for you. @D0rdogne_Damsel your renovations look superb, you have worked so hard, I wish I lived nearer to you - maybe a mail order service? Took the car for its two yearly CT(MOT) yesterday, we thought it might fail as the rear wiper blade broke when we washed it the day before but apparently it doesn't matter! Off to the pharmacy in a minute to find something for my painful swollen sinuses which has made me almost deaf in one ear, not sure if they do much OTC stuff for that sort of thing here, am trying not to have to go to the dr's. Washing is on the spin cycle so that shouldn't take long to dry outside today, oh yes must go and open the GH before it gets too hot in there!
Morning everyone, another bright sunny start. I have been up a while, being distracted by the antics of the birds again. We are getting regular visits from a pair of Jays, We have never seen them as much, in the past.
Another lovely day but I've had another sighting which confirms that we have a Roland residing nearby.
I'm guessing that the pigeon feeding NDN is the food source that has encouraged it and the 'stuff' dumped behind and next to their shed provides good cover/shelter for it to hide away during the day
We've been busy this morning ... we've posted our votes and two birthday cards, taken delivery of some paint and now I've got pastry resting in a quiche tin before I trim it and pop it in the oven to blind bake ... salmon and broccoli quiche to go in the filling ... I need to use some eggs up as the next delivery is tomrrow ... OH often has poached eggs for lunch but he's worked four days this week so that's rather thrown my ordering out of sync. I've also been outside watering ... it's still chilly and another thick layer of ice on the birdbath ... I've got a photo of it
The new boiler is being delivered today ... I do feel sad that there's no way we could have anything but gas here ... we were told that our house isn't suitable for the heat exchange unit type and our roof is wrong for solar panels ... hey ho ... hopefully if I outlast this boiler there'll be an affordable alternative or we'll be huddled around hot water bottles in our dotage.
It's all go here today ............ the boiler and its sundries have arrived and are sitting in the garage awaiting the fitter who is due on Monday.
.............. and now the quiche base is in the oven .... I shall have a ☕while it's baking ... OH is ready to do some jobs in the garden, he wants a list ..........

Managed another couple of hours before Hubby woke me up.

Another beautiful day here, so gardening should help take my mind off other things.
Fantastic transformation @dordogne-damsel
