    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
I slept like a log ... OH woke me with my coffee and it still took me a while to wake properly ... I was out to the world 😆 Now I see the morning is bright and sunny and not a breath of wind.
Wildlife here too @Pat E but ours was alive ... just as the sun was going down a large heron flew down from over our house, passing the sittingroom window and landing on the neighbour’s garage roof. He   scrutinised their garden intently ... they used to have a koi pond but it was filled in at least 8 years ago  ... seeing that they’d still not reinstated his cafeteria the heron flew off towards the old oak woodland across the valley. I guess he has hungry mouths at home to feed.

Hope you can give your arm a rest today @Busy-Lizzie.
    😊

  • Always gotta have it strong @Dovefromabove it’s the same with tea! I think it’s a vanilla latte for me this morning.

Ive got a lovely day planned with family as it’s my Grandads birthday today. Planning to sit out in his garden and have a little tea party for lunch. I’m thinking of baking some lemon slices this morning to have with our tea.

    Good morning all,

Beautiful here again, no frost but it was a bit close for comfort, very cold wind.

A bit stunned to see the way a certain thread turned overnight, such a shame that what is normally a really positive, interesting and friendly site could suddenly become so negative. And of course @Dovefromabove it is all your fault, you wicked, wicked woman you! Happily it didn't disturb your sleep, so that ok then. :)

Glad you have had no side effects @Busy-Lizzie, all good.

I have decided a rustic looking pergola is actually too rustic so I am going to paint it today. I rubbed it all down yesterday, and ended up with moss getting everywhere, obviously your working mostly over your head; I must make better precautions before I get the green paint out.

Very happy last night to see the tiniest sprouts coming out of my dahlias - finally! And all 8 tomatoes have germinated, and I have even managed to seperate two that had decided to share the same pot despite my best efforts to keep each seed seperate.

I have got some red pppers and sweet potatoes roasting ready for soup at lunchtime, have to nip out to the DIY shop to get said paint, so catch you all later.

    Have a good day. :)

    Hi all

Another sunny day here, after a frost.
I think I might have to water the garden, no rain here for weeks.
No more wickedness from you, please @Dovefromabove :)
