No, just confirming he does dress down Fridays. They've had him doing the weather as outside broadcasts recently and he's been rugged up for the cold with a very smart overcoat and matching gloves. I can do coordinated but never look that well groomed.

Sorry to hear about your BIL @didyw - hope he recovers soon.
@rholden_82 , tie some knitting wool, soft string or ribbon around the leaves and tie it to a small stick the height of the leaves. Or, two small sticks either side of the underneath plant to hold the bigger allium leaves apart. Old wire coat hangers can often be re-purposed as plant supports, use pliers to fashion them into a round shape.
I've just been out and watered everything in pots, two new roses I planted in early March and the bamboo in a stone trough. I checked in my garden diary and it hasn't rained here for 12 days. It probably will now!!!
@Lizzie27 - it feels odd to be watering things at this time of year doesn't it? I'm doing the pots and the newly planted clematis. It's been quite windy here and that does dry out the top layer of soil. I think it's damper further down though.
@didyw I hope your BIL is OK but good that his lungs are clear.
@rholden_82, I do as @Lizzie27, but I use green garden twine and bamboo canes. If the canes are too long I cut them with secateurs.
First coat of paint in the utility room is nearly done, should start the second coat tomorrow. Can't quite finish it as the builders left the fridge and freezer in the way.
Edged the new flower beds with edging shears.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Had a bit of a siesta. 2 hours absolutely out for the count until Hubby woke me up.
