Morning! Rain!! Finally! Not a great deal but it has gone into the ground. The air is not cold as forecast predicted - it is "morning cool". Great for the end of April. Planted out some planters yesterday, so they are basking in this.
Looking like rain here today! Finally! I need to get out and plant the onion sets I picked up yesterday. Not sure why my brain decided I needed 50 onion sets but hey. As long as I get some onions at the end of it...
@takhana you only get one onion per set so, for me anyway, that's about a 10 week supply. My last onions did not grow that well cos of early heat and drought last spring so this year I planted garlic and shallots in early December in a bid to get ahead. No heatwave but ever so dry.
The breeze has got up a bit here so I've been and watered the pots in the potager and in the polytunnel. Now waiting for coffee to brew and OH to get home from golf so we can go and buy the wire he needs to make supports for blackberries and see what baby veggies they may have for me and some more compost too.
Better get changed then as I'm a bit wet and grubby.

I moved the tomatoes into the polytunnel yesterday. Not checked on them yet.
