I can't remember the last time we had thick ice in May.
1Β° in the greenhouse last night but at least I remembered to bring the plants in this time so no harm done.

Well this is the first morning this year that I've been able to sit outside with my morning coffee. It's lovely and warm despite the ice.Β

Nah, about the fact that Wild edges managed to have coffee outside. I am amazed how many people have put tender plants out, wondered what's gone wrong,or said there won't be any more Frost. I don't expect everyone to know everything,o learn on here and post for advice, but doesn't anyone read packets/instructions, ie: plant out after danger of frost has passed

@Nanny Beach yes but all us novices are impatient πŸ˜‚ A bit of sunshine in the day and we think summer's here, everything will thrive and time to get the plants out of the house 😐 Looking back at last year I already had tomatoes and runner beans outside but I got away with it because it was unusually warm.Β
Anyone else checking the weather three times a day hoping there'll suddenly be a miraculous heat wave heading our way?

No heatwaves please @hatty123 you can have higher night time temps if you like but 16-18C is my happy placeΒ  :)Β  (sorry @Hostafan1 )
