Night time temperatures in April, according to the Met Office, were the coldest for 99 years. Our complaints are warranted.

    Offend whom?
I just realised I forgot to get the tender plants in from the greenhouse last night. All week it hasn't gone below 7Β° in there but typically on the night I forget it drops to 2Β°. Nothing looks too badly affected so far so I might get away with it.Β
I checked on my seeds while I was in there though and all the borages have sprouted now and sweetpeas are starting to poke through. The bees will be pleesed.Β  :)

I use cash as much as I can and our pharmacy accepts cash. Not keen on debit card use for everything don’t necessarily want the bank to know where I buy my sandwiches.Β

I heard the first cuckoo this morning.

I didn't know Nicola Sturgeon had been on TV or radio today. :D

You buy sandwiches! Am amazed North Wales didn't go below 7c, always thought it was chilly (and wet) there

South Wales, and that was the temperatures inside the greenhouse. It's been much colder with the wind outside.Β
