    I always "do" my hanging baskets Easter.Β  The Petunias, and Verbena plugs have arrved, started potting on, they are on the conservatory table, checked and watered daily, am thining a couple at the end don't look too good, have I accidentally missed watering them.Β  Gave them a soaking checked door before bed, OH HELLO!!! There was a slug about 2 inches long feasting on them, has almost completely scoffed the 2 sad looking ones!
  • I thought the watering can was blocked today so I tipped it out. Out dropped a very dead soggy mouse.Β  T'other half has resurrected the idea of ladders inside watering cans.Β  He now has a 3D printer to play with.
    Poor little thing :(Β

    Curtains on NNE facing windows are billowing. An extremely rare occurrence. ThisΒ  bodes ill temperature wise. If I had anything outside that's even slightly delicate, I'd bring it in to shelter.Β

    Why is getting help so flippin awkward?
    Can't get carers allowance as I earn too much.
    Can't get attendance allowance as he's not over pension age.
    Can't get PIP because he'd not understand the questions and can't be relied on to give accurate answers.
    Until he qualifies for one of the above, can't get discount for "severe mental impairments" on council tax, nor any help via Universal Credit.Β

    Hosta, this could be me saying this, I'm not stupid or phased by officialdom, but the man was so rude, said I was Confusing him, because he said he would e mail the medical department, then ring,I asked if he was going to ring me,or them.had already told him, don't try to ring my son now, he's suicidal,he won't answer the phone

    DLA has been replaced by PIP. HE has to apply, and then HE has to assessed to see if he is fit enough, or not.Β
    Given that he doesn't know what day of the week it is, he's quite likely to tell the he does all the housework and is planning on going back to work soon ( neither of which are ever going to happen )

    @Hostafan1 Β πŸ€—Β You need advice from the Alzheimer’s Soc.Β
    When Ma was assessed there was a social worker involved and I was able to contribute to the assessment ... but she was older so it was for Carers and Attendance etc.Β

    Have you done POAs for each other?
