I suspect that Norwichโ€™s seemingly endless supply of unpredictable and waywardย mobility scooters will lay waste to a good proportion of

I'm visualising roaming gangs of pensioners on mobility scooters facing down 'yoof' on e-scooters.ย  Like a 2020's version of the Mods and Rocker battles of the 1960s.

Grumble of the day.ย  People have started to use the train again. Three carriages with half of one blocked off. Before the 12th it was empty. Half the seats were empty and the four seat tables most had one person in. Morning run even emptier.

Now every double seat has a person in and tables at least two in over half full. From not even quarter full. Why were they keeping away before? Is the extra just people out to shop and socialise? You do see a lot more people with paper shop bags and especially primary ones.

Then you get one guy on a table. Do you sit on the opposite corner or is that not done in covid times?ย  I did and got 9 minutes of dirty looks until the guy got off at the next station. Everywhere else strangers sharing table seating. Who's right?ย

I do not get pandemic etiquette anymore.
I would add that people seem to be driving more again, which when you've had a year of quiet commutes and easy parking is a massive pain - back to getting up an hour and a half before I need to be in work to make sure I can get a parking space in the car park fifteen minutes from home again. :frowning:

Even on my short trips to the Allotment,ย  I haveย  noticed the traffic is back to normal this time.ย  After the first lockdown it took ages for it to return.ย  I think after a long lockdown winter many more people are just determined to get out and about.ย

Popped into "Town" yesterday, needing things like nail brushes. IN one of the "cheapy" stores, a goldmine) girl, the fake nails, eye lashes, hair extensions, pushing a pram, yup on the phone suddenly noticed she was going OUT of the IN part, clearly marked, and segregated down the middle with waist high barrier!!!

But they're out and about during working hours and at working age too. Wouldn't be so bad if it was oap rush hour before peak time. It's a mix of workers and shoppers. Workers is essential travel but shoppers? More than two non essential shop bags and it's your leisure activity and therefore not essential. Stay at home!!!!

I'm still angry about pictures of nearby towns and cities with outside spaces of pubs overcrowded and without any social distancing or indeed mask wearing. Just people behaving like pre pandemic days. This pandemic will have a summer lockdown. Just when schools are off and families want to go on a family holiday. Do these people not get that what they're doing for short term pleasure is going to mess things up and harm or kill people?

I'm sorry but I'm of the opinion that pubs should not open until pandemic is controlled. Not just low infection and hospitalisation rates but vaccination complete andย  infection rates at permanent lows. It's not over so we shouldn't behave like it is.ย

Grump number 2 or is it 3 or 4? Last week I was in grange over sands.ย  There were fresh looking stickers in various place proclaiming covid is a hoax. Are these people just nut jobs or dangerous?ย  Are they not sectionable? What do they think it's going on? Seriously, what are they seeing because it's not what I'm seeing.ย

Yup @Hostafan1 ... itโ€™s a shame tho if they take any NHS or other folk with them because of their arrogance. ๐Ÿ˜กย
