It probably would have tasted of vinegar anyway. They don't make it properly.

    Bloody HER[P]MES.

Been waiting for a delivery of Pelargonium cuttings, which they said they would deliver on Thursday [ they didn't ], then Friday [ they didn't ].Β
Received another email today, saying they had been delivered [ they hadn't ]

What state will they been in when I finally get them?

The pair of them are such obvious "gimme gimme" politicians ...........unfortunately as you say, people vote for them tho God knows why.

Is there any other type of politician these days?
Pigs in a trough, the whole lot of them
Isn't that what MP stands for ?Β  Maxi Pig ?Β  Tho it's being a bit mean to genuine pigs to be associated with the Troughers in this manner :D

I'll just say that the woman who delivers for Hermes around here is lovely ... comes when she's supposed to, wears PPI ... puts the package on the doorstep and rings the doorbell and steps back ... if we don't come to the door she puts the package in our Safe Place.Β  It's nearly always her on this round.Β  She's really good and in my feedback I said that Hermes should use her to train their other staff.Β

Our current Hermes chap is good too, but they haven't all been. It seems to be very variable.

Delivery people do OK here too which is amazing as many car GPS systems, including our own, can't find us.

@wild edges the shops I use have sensor driven hand sprays or a foot pump.Β  Β The SM I use has a sensor driven push-thru dooberry for trolleys.Β  Only the fabric shop has a hand pump and I haven't been there for 2 months.
