PR, I made bacon and lentil soup today. Homemade soup is all very delicious. Good news about your son's test result. The sun has finally broken through here but there is little warmth in it. If it stays dry at least overnight, I would like to plant out some of my greenhouse occupants tomorrow.

Fiancé is still poorly but has managed to eat soup for lunch. He is asleep which I think will help.
We have a camellia in the front garden but it looks very unhealthy, leaves are really yellow it’s obviously struggling so will move it when I sort out front garden this year. Any tips?

I can empathise with those of you who are wanting to get stuff out of the greenhouse and who are sowing seeds, I am trying very hard to resist sowing too many seeds too early as I have limited space to bring seedlings on.
Maisie apparently love being back at school, hope chive has had a good day.
Hazel I too would have given in and bought alliums as you were so looking forward to them.

Hazel, I have foxgloves and aquilegias ready to go into the ground. Debs, Camellias must have acid soils or they won't thrive at all.

@Songbird-1 these are Grape Hyacinths. They spread quite well. I just leave mine in the ground and tgey come up year after year.

LB a pot it is then. I assume that’s why the plant is so yellow and sickly.
    Pretty grape hyacinths.

Evening All, Thanks for the good wishes the children were so pleased to see all their friends lots of happy little people,
LB Definitely felt the joy today, my ears are ringing 😁 Your bacon & lentil soup sounded good, I’ve not tried that one I bet it’s a good hearty meal,
Debs I hope Fiancé’s is feeling a bit better now after a restful day and lots of TLC,
Rubee your Lily is beautiful what a lovely gift, I bet it smells fabulous too,
PurpleRose I’m glad your son had a good result from his Covid test today, that’s a relief. Shame about your wet weather but the garden will love it,
Hazel I’m glad you treated yourself to some Alliums after a disappointing outcome from your bulbs, but that pot of Tulips is  lovely it will be a nice display when they all flower.
SGL I really like those grape hyacinths, tried putting some in the ground I hoped they’d spread and they just disappeared 🤷🏻‍♀️
RosieBB I’m pleased you slept well last night, hope you get another good night tonight,
    Have a good evening everyone.
