Hazel, that is so pretty! I can understand why the dimmer evening light didn't help you with the extra stitches. Definitely a pattern to be done in bright light. Well today is proving to be very weird weatherwise. The sun has come out and it looks quite nice but the wind is very cold.
Rosie BB, Boris is a 'leftover' from one of the family February holidays and I couldn't just throw him out so he hangs round at mine

Hi folks,  Lovely pattern Hazel, no wonder it's taking a while.  Hope your Brother had a lovely day yesterday.  It's very blowy today and we have had some sharp showers.  I've been busy doing unmentionables before environmental health moved in this morning.  Have posted a lousy review on Trust Pilot about the company that should have delivered my raised be.  I have been waiting days for a response to my emails.  Funny enough they emailed me 10 mins after the review was posted and said they had read it and were sorry about the confusion and that the delivery would be on Saturday.  They asked if they could do anything to improve the situation.  I said they could always send someone to erect the bed and fill it with the compost that has been sitting on my drive for nearly a week.  They came back and said as a small company they couldn't offer that particular service.  I wonder if they thought I was serious.

Hazel , lovely pattern . I guess that will take some time to complete.
LB there are a few people who are not keen on spiders 🕷 in or house . Definitely not me .
Yvie I hope that you raised bed is delivered on Saturday .I have had a few minutes in the garden and that was enough . The wind is biting . I have seen a weather forecast that we are going to have snow . 😒

Afternoon everyone. Yvie, I hope you asked them for more compost then. Ruby, I saw the weather forecast about possible snow in some areas - its cold enough here. I do not know where these days go to be honest. I have been pottering about - decided to pot on the two little zaluzianskya cuttings to leave room for the baby cacti. Neither of the two had any roots on them, which was rather disappointing, even though they have been in the pot for ages. Anyway, they are in separate pots of new compost so they will either root there or give up the ghost. I have got the adult plants in the greenhouse and they are looking good.
Boris is definitely a cute spider.

Hello all, wild and windy here overnight but a day of mixed sunshine and showers. Work ok but I am looking forward to the weekend. Going to have an early night with a book, fiancé is away at work and the wind last night woke me a few times so hoping tonight is better. Sleep well everyone let’s hope for calmer weather tomorrow.

Hi everyone, what a wet and windy day we've had. It's been raining all day and we even had hailstones at times. And bitterly cold outside.  Hoping tomorrow is better weather.
@Songbird-1 what a pretty pattern. Looks like it needs a lot of concentration though. Really hope you hsve enough wool.
Having an early night, so tired after being awake most of last night.
    Good night everyone sweet dreams

Hazel, I don't blame you for abandoning that particular knitting. One thing about the scarf - apart from the daunting number of stitches - is that it is just plain stocking stitch and can be done easily whilst sitting in front of the TV at night.

    Morning

I agree. Dont blame you for stopping that knitting. It sounds thought it was rather complicated.

Quite a calm morning out side. Everything seems calm and quiet.

Just having breakfast before getting ready for work.

    Have a good day all
