WL (hope you don't mind but I'm bound to get muddled if I keep using PR!) I had a lovely little dunnock's nest in my clematis last year. I could happily sit and watch my birds activities all day. I was a bit worried today when one of my Mrs P's was limping as she walked round the garden. I hope she is not another Hoppity. Your garden sounds fantastic but a lot of hard work - don't be overdoing stuff. Yvie, whatever long covid is I hope you haven't got it.
Hazel what a lovely 45 minutes for you. It does make all the difference. Were you a brave little soldier Chey and did you get a sticker?

    Good evening my friends!
Almost a week of absence from here. My apologies for that. Days are beautiful and every afternoon I was at cottage. Lot of work is done and I can peacefully look forward. Spring break starts today and I have ten days of free time. Easter weekend, according to forecast, will be cold with wind and rain..
I'll make whole pot of tea and going to read over 150 new postos here.

Good to see you Ante and well done on getting so much work finished at the cottage. Our forecast for the Easter weekend is frost and snow in some places. Not very nice for Easter. Enjoy your tea and whatever TV programme you want to watch.

    Morning all,

It hasn't taken long for grassroots and semi-professional football to organise a multitude of meaningless 'friendly' games, which means I'm getting bombarded with requests. I succumbed last night and did a game. 'Twas a bit chilly once the sun disappeared but the 'mortgage fund' will look better as the match fees start to trickle in again.

I did a quick SM shop on the way home last night and decided to leave it in the car whilst I nipped inside for a quick, hot bath. Of course, I then fell asleep in the front room and just woke up :o

Just going to nip out to the car and tiptoe back in with it. I don't think I bought anything which won't have enjoyed a night in my car. Wouldn't want to have done that in the height of summer though.

Good morning Biglad and all to follow.

Hazel, thanks for asking. My father manage quite well in the retirement. I have plenty projects for him, if he doesn't know what to do. 😂 I'll certainly have at least this weekend for resting.

Chive, hope that you will also have a restful Easter weekend. I caught all the posts last night, but fell asleep on the sofa.

Here is one more beautiful morning . Must go to school to get some documents, but nothing more. All shopping is done, so I can easily stay at home whole weekend. Wish you all a nice day and see you soon.

Good morning Biglad and all later arrivals. Biglad, I bet that you enjoyed the fresh (even if a bit chilly) air yesterday and I'm sure that the food items will have come to no harm. It was probably as cold outside last night as in the fridge.
