Morning all. I won't get any more news for a couple of weeks as we have got to wait for a post mortem.
I am on compassionate leave from work.  5 days,  ( excluding bank holidays) so going to go back on Thursday and can take more when I need to.

Good morning SGL, Hazel and Pauline. We had a light frost here first thing but I don't think it was too severe. The sun is coming out now and I'm going to seize the day as the forecast for Sunday and Monday is dreadful. Pauline, try and have some quiet, restful time until the results are available. The wait will be agonising for you so make sure you look after yourself.

Good morning everyone. Off to SM in a mo (why have I left it until the bank holiday??????). It's really quite chilly today and I must remember to isolate the 2 garden taps again - don't need those freezing...

Pauline - hope you can find something to do to take your mind off everything. I have no idea how, as a parent, you come to terms with these events.

LB - have a lovely time meeting up with your bestie🙂
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Thanks  all. That's the main reason that I am going back to work,  too much time to think when I am not working.

Hi Folks,  Pauline, sometimes keeping busy is better than taking it easy.  Just make sure you stay well.  It's easy to neglect yourself when such a devastating event happens. Hugs for you and your family.
It's sunny here but quite cold with a chilly breeze.  I've been potting up seedlings in the conservatory.  I'm trying to be sensible and only pot on what I need, with a few spares.  Look after yourselves everyone.

Afternoon all. I had a lovely visit with my Bestie today though it was very chilly. When I got back I grabbed some lunch and I've just come in from planting 100 snowdrops in my front garden. I could leave you awestruck at my dealing with that task but to be honest I planted them in groups of 10 or twelve so it wasn't such an onerous task as it sounds. I then had a call from Jack's daughter as she had a problem with her iPhone - apparently she had lost all her contacts. Anyone who knows me recognises that my knowledge of iPhones could be written on a stamp but I resorted to the famous search engine to try and seek a remedy. She will make an attempt this pm. Give me Android any day.
T'Bird, I hope that you got all of your shopping done. Whilst I was driving to Bestie's there seemed to be myriads of people out and about and it was lovely to see. I still have my polystyrene 'hoodie' on my outside tap - just in case.
Pauline, I think that is a very good idea. Fill your mind with other things so that you don't brood.
Yvie, I am hopeless with seedlings as I cannot bear to throw any away!

Love snowdrops @Ladybird4  A few years ago i sent for some in the green,  i planted them in groups of 10 too. They look lovely every year, one of my favourites
Glad you had a lovely catch up with your friend. It's lovely and sunny here, but there's a chilly breeze.

Take care, thinking of you  @Pauline 7  sending hugs

    Afternoon everyone, Brrr 🥶
LB I hope you’ve had plenty of tea & chat today with your bestie, sorry I was too late to oblige earlier 😊
Pauline I’m sorry to hear you have to wait before any conclusive answers, take this time just to try and process what’s happened it’s all been such a shock,
Topbird Hopefully you’ve missed all the throngs of people shopping by going today, I hope you got all you needed,
Yvie You’ve done well to pot up your seedlings today,
Now the unenviable task of hot flat things to do, atleast it’s a warm job.
