Good morning all. Busy day today shopping etc so we can relax tomorrow and eat lots of chocolate! Lovely to see birds and signs of spring everywhere. My seedlings are not at the pricking out stage yet but like others on here I keep as many as possible and have more than I need but any surplus can be left on the “ help yourself “ table at the allotment and they are snapped up. I just can’t bear to deny them their chance to live.

Morning, Ruby, Chive and Debs. Debs, a kindred spirit where seedlings are concerned. Once those green leaves appear I have to give them their chance. I have to say that I don't quite have that same feeling for weed seedlings

    Morning everyone,
    Lovely photos Ante, gorgeous colours.
Lovely photo of the house Martin  LB.
Went to sleep quite quickly, but then woke up around 3.30. Lay awake for hours.
Looks pretty chilly outside and starting to get windy now too.
Do hope it brightens up we're supposed to be seeing the poppets today. OH won't be able to stay outside if it's cold.
    Have a good day everyone

    Good morning

Been a busy week last week so didn't get chance to pop on for a few days. I hope you are all ok.

I now have a week off work for annual leave. So ready for it as I have had no time off since end of October few days of November.  I was wanting to get out into my garden but the forecast is not good and it is so cold. I might be able to put my big coat on and have a sit out with a cuppa and listen to the birds for a bit.

Debs I am the same as you with going to the SM. I am going to get ready and go, I am just sat enjoying my cup of tea. I must muster the motivation to go 🤣🤣

What a good idea with the help yourself table at the allotment. Good way to make sure extra plants get a good home and you get a seat with something else you fancy growing.

LB  I am the same as you about the seedlings. Need to give them a good chance. I do find myself talking to the smaller ones giving them instructions to grow more.

SGL I hope that the broken night does not affect your day.

I will get out of the chair now and go to the SM 🤣🤣

Good Morning Debs, SGL & PurpleRose,
Debs A good way to share those extra plants by offering them to others on the allotment,
SGL Fingers crossed that the weather allows for you and OH to see your family,
PurpleRose that was a bit spooky! I was just thinking I had not seen you post lately. All the best with the shopping today and hope you have a nice break from work.

PR, have you reverted back from the title Wildlifer???? I've just been planting some fancy grass seeds Stipa tenuissima and Anemanthele lessoniana and it was definitely chilly outside when I went to get some compost out of the garage. They are now on the bedroom windowsill. I saved a couple of dessert containers as they seemed to me at the time as if they would make good little propagators.

Morning Hazel, you snuckered in there. I'm still trying to sort out PR in my head and hoping I didn't just dream the Wildlifer tag Maybe thats why Chive thought she hadn't seen her for a while. Please tell me I'm not losing the plot here!

Morning Hazel, hope Lily’s TV doesn’t create too bigger jobs for you, try and take it easy,
LB I hope I have this right🤞 PurpleRose hasn’t changed, Wildlifer had another name PaulaCastlePersonal to begin with. Love the use of dessert tubs for mini propagators ideal for growing your seeds in 🤗

Eek Chive. I have definitely lost the plot then! There is no hope for me. I think I was calling Wildlifer PR for a while and yesterday I think I asked her if it was OK to call her WL. I'm going to lie down in a dark room with a wet cloth on my head.
p.s. sorry PR and Wildlifer for getting all confused over your names.
