No - no cuppas Chive - let's have gin - sorts out all the problems😁

Afternoon all - isn't it cold??? 🥶 Slightly concerned about some of my new plantings, but they're all hardy shrubs from a reliable outdoor nursery so I don't think any of them will have been cosseted under glass. Going to stick a bucket over 2 that are in a more exposed site for a couple of nights next week and 🤞

LB - I get confused with forum name changes too but PR is from Yorkshire and I think WL is from the SW - definitely not the same people.

Ante - hope all the cottage renovations are going to plan. I hate all the decisions that need to be made while they're going on but (as a control freak) I can't just leave it to the workmen to decide😉

Just heard my nephew got engaged yesterday. She's a lovely girl and they've been together for years - no idea what's taken them so long!

That sounds like a really good plan Chive. I hope I'm not TOO late to the kettle. It has become comfortably warm here and I've been doing more seed sowing. Spotted this (camera shy) small tortoishell on my grape hyacinths today:

I'll second the gin suggestion T'Bird Congratulations to your nephew. I've had the heads up that my nephew who got engaged last year will be getting married in 2023 in Sydney. Another trip to Oz in the offing.

Afternoon folks,  It's more like Coffee or Hot Chocolate with Baileys than Gin weather.  I love Gin but tend to drink it in the summer with lots of ice and lemon.  Think I'm losing the plot too. I can't remember if I've already posted on here today or if this is the first.

    Afternoon All,
Rubee 😁 How are you getting on with the crochet? All coming together ok I hope,
Topbird Gin sounds good 😌  mind you I wouldn’t say no to a baileys either 🤔 Congratulations to your nephew & his fiancée on their engagement,
LB Its never too late for the kettle. How lovely to spot the butterfly on your Muscari & you have a happy event to look forward to how exciting!
Hoping SGL had the weather to see the poppets today,
Hope RosieBB is getting on ok, not too long now to get connected.
Hope you all have a nice evening.

Good night Hazel. Sleep well later. I've just had a shower to remove my gardening grime and now I'll have to see what, if anything, is worthwhile watching on TV.

    Hi everyone,
We managed to see the poppets this afternoon.  The sun did appear for awhile and we sat in a cosy sheltered corner of the garden. A little chilly but not too bad. We did have a few layers on though😉 Had a lovely time and got back just before 6.
The only thing I'm muddled about is what day it is. I keep thinking today is Sunday! 🤦🏻‍♀️
Hope you've all had a lovely day.
