Ooh sorry Hazel I planted my post right in the middle of your pictures, what a spectacular sight to see! that procession must have been quite something to watch.

Afties all. I have had an absolutely joyous day today. It was so nice after such a long time to see some of my relatives. I have only just got home. The weather was really nice for us and we sat in the garden and I was subjected to an hysterical welcome from Mo, the dog, who then lay under my chair after seeing off a couple of woodpidgeons and a collared dove. He is still as cute as ever. The M6 is lined both sides with cones for the greater part of my journey and ominous yellow signs talking of 'changing to digital roads'. I'm assuming this means smart motorways although I am not so sure. Whatever, it just means that travel on the M6 is going to get nightmarish and very soon by the looks of things. Joy!
Hazel, I heard about the procession on the radio but those pictures really do make it look spectacular. Superb.
PR, apologies again. I got totally muddled. Wildlifer, I think when I saw your name (Paula), I must have got PR stuck in my head and then my brain went into melt down. The cold frame is going to come in very handy. Mine needs a good dusting (allowed to say because it isn't HW )
    Time for a cuppa.

What beautiful day it's been, a lovely warm sunny day. We went for a walk to the duck pond with Poppet number 3 and his Mummy and Daddy.  A wander in the woods and then they came back and sat in the garden for the afternoon. So lovely to see them all.
