Good morning everyone. A day of reflection for us all today. I have to nip into town to Spooksavers as one pair of my new glasses doesn't seem right. Appointment is for 09:15, so nice and early and despite the horrid forecast I would like to get more work done in the garden.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good Morning LB and all to follow, LB I hope you get the glasses adjusted, lovely picture completed with the little ladybird. SGL I hope you slept well last night, Debs I hope you get a good gardening day today, Hello to everyone in the quiet corner 👋 Have a good day everyone
I have missed a few days on here, I dont know how the time has passed. I thought last night, I have not been on the gardening forum.
I agree, seeing things likenachool kids walking to school brings a bit of normality. It is very quiet though at my sons secondary school at the moment as a lot are off self isolating. We have managed to do his twice weekly Covid Home test so far (touch wood) without any drama (not on sons side Haha!! I went on the website last night to report his result, put all the details in and submitted it and got an error message with "this service is not available" he was negative so that is the main thing.
Good morning everyone . I hope that Spooksavers  sorts your glasses out quickly LB . Morning Chive , enjoy your day .Debs enjoy your gardening ,don’t work too hard .PR enjoy your day . Good to hear that your son tested negative for COVID .Â
Good Morning Debs & PurpleRose, Debs Sounds like a good day to get outdoors enjoy the day in your garden, PurpleRose nice to see you it is surprising how quickly the time goes. I can sympathise with your son the twice weekly tests are not pleasant, but as you say the negative result is most important. Hope you have a good day ahead.Â
Good morning all.  I’ve already done my sm shop, nice and quiet.  I was up at 6am, sm at 7:40, round at Rubees 8:20.  LB I hope you get your glasses sorted and have time in the garden.  PR good to hear son had a negative test, always a relief.  Chive Hope you and yours are well.  Lily I hope you had a good nights rest.  Debs we wouldn’t be without our families, happy gardening.
Morning everyone, Slept better last night, did wake up a couple of times but drifted back to sleep after a short while. Looks very chilly out there this morning. Hope all goes well at Spooksavers LB. @PurpleRose good to hear your son has tested negative. Hope you all have fun in the garden or whatever you're doing. Need to pop down the village to post a birthday card. Then might prune the Roses in the front garden. Have a good day everyone, take care.
Morning everyone. Rather chilly at the moment but the forecast is nice so I'll head off outside in an hour or so. Have been busy mulching borders and yesterday I Â turned one of the big compost bins. My back knew about it last night!
I had a much better night last night. OH is itching for things to get going again and spent Sat & Sun nights sleeping in his new toy working out which mattresses etc work best. I didn't sleep so well in the house - must need his snoring to sing me to sleep🥴
You've all been very busy. Hope all goes well with snow, work, seeds, fences, specs, internet etc etc etc
Debs - sorry to hear your sad news.
Aah!  Sun has just come out😎 Aiming to tidy and mulch another big border today....
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
