I have just come in from the garden.

After the SM, I missed our turnoff for home and carried on  driving. Mr PurpleRose asked where we were going. I replied nowhere. He asked again and I muttered "garden centre." He hates going to the garden centre with me. He whinged and said I will stay in the car. I said no no no, you need to come with me. I know if he comes in with me he will moan and spoil my enjoyment looking round so I only get what i actually go for. He was distracted as he was eavesdropping some people talking about "married at first sight Australia." Well we have been watching it (and love it) and he joined in the conversation through a large shelf full of plants and they were all nattering about things that have happened in it. I was free to browse, until he realised I had disappeared off. Before I knew it he had come my way so I only  managed to get my Hellebore that I had gone for 😖😖

I got home and I only intended to plant out the Hellebore. I have been out around  4 hours. I have done allsorts but my head is clear and I have achieved lots.

Hope you all had a good day

Wow PR that was a well planned course of action there, plus you got the hellebore you wanted. I made 12 paper pots (with the gizmo) and I learned from the first one not to wind the paper too tightly around the wooden former because it was a divil of a job trying to get it out (note to self - swearing does NOT work)! The 12 pots are now filled with compost and a dahlia seed so I'll monitor the progress when/if it happens. I also sowed some plastic pots of McKana aquilegias. I have no idea where time goes though and there was no rugby this weekend to add to the various distractions. Spoke to my friend from Crewe and she is as hacked off as most of us are. She had a tooth extracted last Monday and is recovering from that. We still managed to laugh about most things though.

Sounds like you have all been busy buying and planting plants! My favourite way to spend a day I think.
