@Lizzie27 😊 he rang me mid morning to say he had the best nights sleep he’s had in years and when he woke he was able to breathe through his nose which he’s not been able to do for years also. He said that although his ear and throat are painful and the tinnitus is bad, he actually feels so much better in himself ... I’m not surprised about that as it seems he’d had a pocket of infection in his head for so very long. I’m hopeful that this is going to be a very positive change for him. 🤞

    Afternoon.

Decidied to power wash the drive earlier but we got battered by hail! Already soaked and splattered, so decided to clear the drains of leaves etc and was elbow deep pulling stones and leaves out of one. Shower, hot cross buns and rugby this afternoon then.

I hope everyone’s weekend is going ok.

@Dovefromabove  Glad to read that your son is feeling some relief from the pressure he has been enduring over the past few years.

@Busy-Lizzie  Yes, we "gel up" too.

But the rules were relaxed this summer and then by September, public places were closed down again, then relaxed again for Christmas  Goodness!   6 people inside at a time - if you live in a house with a big living room/family room/kitchen, that's ok.  But what if you are granny and living in a 1brm-flat?  It's the same with you, one day this, next day that.  Patta tee, patta ta!!   We just rock on!!

We are winning at the rugby match over here, BTW. (so far)!

PS  @Busy-Lizzie - you're not an English builder until you can handle at least 10 cups of tea per day (and they have to whistle a mean tune).  French tradesman like a short black - and a long chat about where does that accent come from?   They can't whistle to save themselves!

Hi folks,  Had no internet from last night until about 30 mins ago.  The whole area was down.  I hate using my phone to post it's too fiddly.  Glad to be back online.
I was supposed to get the raised bed delivered today, but no sign of it.  Tried to track it using the code supplied by Quickcrop but it wasn't recognized by the delivery company.  My next review will be a beauty.

That's really good news Dove. Not so good on the tinnitus but that might pass. How's his sense of balance- all okay I hope.
Very frustrating @Yviestevie we're still battling with Plusnet over our non emails for nearly 4 months but I've just had good news about my broken laptop.Itcan't be repaired apparently so they've offered me a higher tech replacement

I’m awake early as son and Pixel left at 6.30am!  It’s apparently been raining all night.  Not that I’d know. Slept like a log.  Our windows are all fogged up with the cold rain outside and it’s nearly daylight. I’m planning on nodding off again. 🙄
