  • I don't know @Dovefromabove, having to make your own coffee, what's the world coming to? 😅 Bacon sandwiches sound good though. 😁

    Morning all, my coffee maker is permanently broken so I always make my own! Only had one so far!
    Chilly here.  Didn't do slug patrol last night so hoping everything in the greenhouse is OK!

    Managed to catch my 2 accidental fish in my wildlife pond.  They arrived when very small and was given some pond water from a friends pond. As a result,  no frogspawn has ever survived. I have frogs, newts and toads but Monty and Don, the 2 accidental fish never let reproductions live.  They have now been rehomed in my village pond by papa womble. Frogs and newts are now cavorting happily!

    Dug lots of the wrong bluebells from my garden yesterday,  I know I'll have missed a few but it's the only thing that was growing other than ground elder when I got here! I'll never be able to get rid of all of either!

    @WonkyWomble
    I have to " re do " the pergola. I'm sure it's only the roses holding it upright.  I've got our builders coming round to look at it this week.
    I also aim to get MUCH more planting done down at the lake and lots of moving  / editing elsewhere.

    Morning all.

    You must have the rain that was forecast here @D0rdogne_Damsel.

    I'm going to lunch at Son 1's today.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    I've got loads of irises which I bought , split and planted in " the allotment " which are now big enough to be planted down at the lake.
    A friend gave me over 100 Jap Anemones which can be mass planted down there too along with masses of astilbes which she gave me last year and I've got a load of Zantedescia which I grew from seed
