    Evening.

That’s exciting to have some new beds to set up @Busy-Lizzie. You are going to be, aptly, busy.

Beep beep...the chicken breasts have roasted - we are just going to have rolls or sandwiches but I did some parsnips as I love them so much.

    Enjoy the light evening folks.

Fantastic work @Busy-Lizzie, you are one strong lady.

Not sure whether any of you watch Top Gear, but there was a part where they drove to the very remote lighthouse at Ardnamurchan Point. We stayed there for a week a few years ago, extraordinary place, really remote and surrounded on 3 sides by sea. Unfortunately it was very foggy for 48 hours whilst we were there, which meant the fog horn went off every 15 minutes. Sleep was not possible.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
@punkdoc  I only know Ardnamurchan Point from the Shipping Forecast ... I’ve always felt that it should be a wild and enigmatic place ... I’m glad that it lives up to my dreams ... it would be a shame if it was more prosaic ...

Hello Forkers. My neighbour told me that her husband had run over a snake in front of our place. It reared up at him when he got to check on it. So he realised it was injured but not dead, so he finished it off. Not sure what species it is, but thought it was worth a photo. 🙄 Won’t let me put the photo on 😡

Here I am being brave.  It smelled a bit unpleasant. 🤭

That looks pretty big @Pat E ... do you know what sort it is?

Well Dove, it’s not an Eastern Brown, nor a Red Bellied Black, so I’m guessing it’s a tiger snake, but it’s head was mangled when Philip finished it off, so it’s hard to tell. Either way, I’m glad I didn’t meet it when walking around our place. 😳

Goodness me @Pat E ... from what I can find it’s not the sort of snake you want to meet in your garden
