    Morning all.

Allotment Boy, we are well above our river and very glad to see some water flowing in it after months of it being reduced to water holes here and there. 🙄.
    See my photo from yesterday.

The drive to town today might be a different story, so might take Hubby’s  4wheel drive Ute instead of my little sedan.  Just in case there are any flooded areas.

    Have a good sleep all.

Been to town and drove down to the river paddock for a look when we got home.

The water level isn’t as good as I’d hoped, but every little bit helps. As you can see from the green banks on the left, there’s still a way to go.

  • Good morning @Pat E and all to follow.

Incredible scenes of the floods over there on our Breakfast News this morning @Pat E. Australia certainly seems to have extremes of nature in some parts.

Saw some shots of vertical felling of trees too on the news, that was quite surreal. :0

Lovely sunny day again here, my farmer neighbour dropped a digger load of manure off for me yesterday so that's today's job. I really ought to go to the SM too though, we are running out of supplies. Probably best I do that before I start playing with the manure.

I am desperate to get to a good GC, I have a list of plants I would like to have a look at. At this time of the year there is usually a lot of plant markets on, whole villages taken over by plant stalls. I am not sure if they will be allowed to go ahead because of the Covid situation.

Anyway, off to school now with Charlie, I'll pop back in later. Have a good day all. :)

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
a steaming heap of manure ... a lovely sight @D0rdogne_Damsel and one I miss since moving from a more rural home 😉

Hope your weather settles down a bit soon @Pat E

Morning DD and Dove. We’ve still got a couple of days of wet weather yet, but we are ok. I feel sorry for those who are in the flooded areas.

Morning all,  as @D0rdogne_Damsel says, there's a lot of pictures of quite extreme,  floods so glad you're not directly affected @Pat E. It seems we are all having to live with weather extremes.
Nice bright start here,  have a good day everyone.

    Morning all!

Glad to hear you're not affected @Pat E, I can't imagine what it must be like to be in that situation!

Beautiful sun streaming in the windows this morning, makes me loathe to go up to the windowless loft home office 😔

Need to start planning what to do with seedlings that have been started indoors. Once they are pinched out into individual pots can they go straight into the cold frame? Or do I need to do the indoor/outdoor dance with them for a little while?
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

    Depends a lot on what you’re growing, @Latimer 😊

    Morning all.

The floods look horrendous in Oz, feel so sad for those poor people.

The sun is shining. I must get the washing on the line and do a bit of HW, feed the donkey then weeding and planting raspberries in the vegetable garden.
