Glad your son is doing ok @Dovefromabove. Happy to hear your son and furry friend have arrived home safely @Pat E Good luck with the phone @Nanny Beach, I find the best thing is to just keep 'playing' with it until it starts to make sense. As long as you know how to do the things you really need to know, the rest is all a bonus.
It's not Mother's Day here in France, we have to wait until May.
My little lunch went very well yesterday, so nice just to see other people. We are very fortunate here living in such a rural location, space is our greatest luxury. Lots of sunshine is another bonus, beautiful day again here already.
I am hoping to get the rest of my mulch spread today, although I have to do a bit of deep weeding before I can put it down. I need to get some plants out of the GH and into the ground too, they are getting much too big for their pots.
Have a good day all, whatever you night be doing and Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers out there too.

Hello DD. Missed you there. I’m glad your lunch plans worked out.
Hubby was given a supply of Poppy seedlings this afternoon. I plan to find homes for them tomorrow. I expect they’ll make a pretty display eventually. 😁
After the talk about going out to lunch yesterday, which we are allowed here at the moment, a friend has asked me to lunch today. I hadn't seen her for ages because of not socialising. She was at my friend's funeral and it was good to see her, behind our masks. I now live much closer to her than before. Anyway, I'm going, she was widowed 3 years ago and OH is in England. We'll keep our distances and it looks a nice day so we may sit on her sunny terrace. Don't worry @chicky, we understood what you meant. OH loves being in Norfolk but he had to admit that at the moment it's not much fun. He was looking forward to going to Morrisons! He's quite a sociable person.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all, grey and cool again here. Glad your son is feeling better. @Dovefromabove. I have a small sense of what it's like for him as my OH is deaf in one ear, and has tinnitus. It was caused by an infection, years ago, long before we were together. It makes life very difficult sometimes.
@Busy-Lizzie 😊 we’ll have to meet up again when you’re in Norfolk and it’s allowed ... it’ll soon be 12 months since we visited you both and had those lovely scones 😋

Good morning all. More Hugs to Junior Dove. Arm aches from jab, but a fair price to pay. Happy Birthday to Mr @Nanny Beach, he's exactly one day younger than mine.
Just been treated to a yummy Mothers Day brunch by Chicklet, with littlest Chicklet joining in from Bham via the wonders of zoom. A very special start to my day 😀😀😀.
Now I’m off outside to hack at my Buddleja’s. Planning a sunset walk round the Punchbowl later, when hopefully the hordes will have gone home.
Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there 💐, and Happy Sunday to the rest of you ☀️
Happy Mothering Sunday to all concerned. It's bright and sunny here, tho breezy, and I hope to be out there planting my lovely new rhodo later. Brunch first and then some pottering. I too have buddleias to prune and will take cuttings of Masquerade.
Have a lovely day everyone. Hope you get some sun too.
