Cheers folks!  He’s had a bit of a tough time since his marriage fell apart a few years ago... he’s due some good times. The surgeon hopes the tinnitus will improve as the repair work he did to the inner ear heals 🤞

@Lizzie27 great news about your laptop 👨🏼‍💻

Glad you’re back @Yviestevie ... hope the delivery gets sorted soon. 😊

They are safely home, so I’m glad for that.  Always worry when they travel on our roads. 😏
ive been out t check the rain gauge this morning and we’ve got another 24 mm. Wonderful. Maybe our river will start to run again. 🙄. Tasmania got their first autumn snow overnight. No wonder it’s cup here.

Morning people, been up quite a while, got the first load of washing on, had the compulsary cuppa.  Busy_l, we coulnd't "get" up the phone, pic, Hubby found it eventually.  As I said he's very techy, got the bloke analytical brain, he managed to remove the finger print thing, that was a pain, no says he can now get it to switch on by touching the screen instead of pushing the side button.  You have to remember, I am 70, had a basic Nokia, the phoney language is completely new to me, I have gone from zero to a thousand in a week. Ask Google something I don't understand I don't understand ANYTHING, most of all, why the hell did I get one. Someone asked if I had the latest iphone, er hello, we only have my pension!! Talking of which it's the old mans' Birthday today, he is 64, (so not pension age)  One of my neighbours said recently I could get a good phone for "only" £600. Anyway, the sun is shining, the washing is going out.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ glad they’re safely home @Pat E 👍
we have sunshine and blue sky, someone is reading Adlestrop on the radio to the sound of a blackbird singing. I used to know Edward Thomas’s second cousin ... war is such a tragic waste.
