    I wonder when that will open @Omori ..that's quite an early bud for this rose ..
    .. I never had it in flower before mid May the several years I grew it here... May 13th to be precise..

    @Marlorena Might have something to do with me not having pruned it this year, as I moved it onto an obelisk and wound the canes up it?

    ..aah ok.. I know little or light pruning promotes earlier flowering,.. which is why I don't prune much..

    The results noted on this forum seem to be favourable for garlic tea.

    Tagetes Nema Mix is shown to help change RRD'd soil. I have bought some and am trying them with a very sorry looking Crimson Glory. (Nema for nematodes).

    There has been some scoffing on the forum about the effectiveness of mycorrhizal fungi. But the vid suggests it's very good for establishing a plant quickly, under certain circs. Hopefully we can draw a line now under all the scowling.

    ..colourful plant, Euphorbia martinii... 

    ..gone dry here again, I had to get the hose out today on a few things..

    Is now the time do you think to start giving my ramblers a good drenching at the base with a bit of liquid feed. They are really starting to push out the new growth.

    ..why waste good stuff on a rambler?  not necessary, they look after themselves..  I've never liquid fed a rambler in my entire gardening life..
