@Allyblueeyes It was me, good memory! I’d do as Yviestevie has said. Looks lovely!
Thank you ... fingers crossed it does as well this year 🤞🏼

I don't either @Mr. Vine Eye but I do try to remember to say thank you.

@Yviestevie, sweet honey is looking very beautiful.

At times I am also guilty of not saying thanks but never intentional. I use phone mostly and sometimes i read and think that i will reply and then forget about it and thread moves on.

Everyone's roses are ahead of mine. I think mine got a setback with all the wet feet and moving to pots  etc. I am yet to plant them out. I am trying to complete a work project and then take leave for gardening.

This year first time I am paying attention to the aspect of garden and how sun moves and sadly realized most of the time a lot of my roses will be in shade.

Group hugs make up for missing 'likes' just about.  :)
Sweet Honey looks appealing but I am having to choose from what DA sell, glad @celcius_kkw recommended England's Rose, I had been considering that and Princess Anne as well. Shame JudeTO is out of stock. Maybe Desdemona...

Does anyone have any experience with Louise Odier/ Jacques cartier/ Comte de chambord. These are on my list for old garden roses. Search is still on for more. I am looking for shrubs with good perfume and good repeat flowering. JC and CDC is mentioned as mainly summer flowering with some flowering later in HMF but elsewhere they are mentioned as having repeat flowering. Any one with experience in the above or any other varieties? good disease resistance would be a bonus.

  • Thank you for that quick response @Marlorena. I think, given that information I need to move it, I don't want a mound. 😱 It's been such a fantastic rose don't want to spoil it's chances.

The trellis things you showed are perfect but sadly they don't deliver to France. At least now I know what I'm looking for.

Off round the garden now to find a suitable spot for this poor New Dawn.

Thanks again. 🙂 I don't want to go on @Mr. Vine Eye list. 😅
