    Beautiful garden @Tack
I've also got an Italian Cypress but mine's in a smallish but tall pot behind our side gate so shady most of the time. I'm surprised it's still surviving because half the time I forget it's there and also forget to water it regularly.

Thanks for the heads-up re Autumn Delight @Marlorena, much appreciated.  Tagging @owd potter who also has it on a wish list.  I notice Trevor White has it too but I'll bear it in mind in case I do a big Beales order.

I also see they have Pelisson on the bin list, one I've often had an eye on...

@Tack, your garden is welcoming the spring sunshine. Tulips all set to burst into colour with perfect green lawn in background.

Lovely photos. I like the Cyprus @Tack

I'd like something like that but shorter. I know Marlorena recommended some narrow conifers a while ago.

  • Thanks @Marlorena only had the box a few months and the lid already warped so had to screw it down again.

@newbie77 thanks, they probably look fresh because they've just been planted.  Will see how they look in a few months time.  It does look like a lipstick but not my colour  :D It's not as far along as your gorgeous magnolias though.

@Tack I have lawn envy.......your garden looks lovely.  After having 6 dogs at one time and 8 chickens (now only 2 dogs and 1 chicken) mine is completely trashed.  My Dad has the most perfect lawn so I threatened to go over at night and turf it to bring back here!!

I think that's what they call a quintessential English garden @Tack
.. quite lovely with the Cypress too... aren't they expensive to buy though?..

..looking forward to the open bloom @Nollie although it's not a spectacular shaped rose, it's the scent really I think..  your heating problems have flown across the Continent as I have radiator issues... always on a Bank Holiday... gas man coming tomorrow.. he sounded nice on the phone...

Lovely comments, thank you, I needed a lift. The Cypresses (1.2-1.4m tall) were 2 for £27 delivered back in July 2019 from Garden Bargains.
Hope your gasman cometh soon too @Marlorena , bit chilly to be without heating this week. We had a few snowflakes this morning!
