You're not wrong @Nollie but I don't blame TCL if the courier company took 9 days, but maybe they shouldn't send them out before Easter. I was promised them mid March hmm maybe it is their fault. But then I've not had a rose die on me yet
Thanks @newbie77 will be interesting to see how it does. I have a new garden bench and would like to grow something around it that is fragrant. Would only get morning sun though.
@Marlorena I had no idea Desdemona could get that big. Shouldn't surprise me though given how much mine grew in it's first season here. It's tempting to put her in the ground so she can really spread her wings.
I don't think my water butts have ever been empty this time of year. I'm normally moaning that we get too much rain
Just before Easter one of the children I teach found a conker on the school field that had started to split and grow a root. So we potted it, I brought it home over Easter and it started growing.
I've had fun making a time lapse video to show what's it's done each day. Really interesting.
I'll have to do more of these, with rose flowers opening up!
Morning rosy folk, Is there any great growth advantage to buying potted roses now as opposed to awaiting the bare root season at year end? DA have a discount available until 09/04 (MALVERN) assuming I could find anything in stock...
