..here I am telling you what to do with your own roses, but as I notice it's close to some sort of path, you could shorten those lengths if in your way at all..  I'm hoping it's not a whippy dog rose rootstock that's suckered and grown up there.. it could be..  so we'll just have to wait and see..

@Marlorena I confess to seeing it on GW last year.   I think it looks lovely in bud and the bees will love it - I intend planting it next to a large wildlife woodpile down the lower end of our meadow. Slightly scented too it says.  I may have gone for R x cantabrigiensis but it was out of stock.

  • My mystery climber, I'm loving the new growth on this...

why have photos loaded sideways this time?
Never done that on me before, how to rotate them?
Just another day at the plant...

Mutabilis is a goner @Marlorena 🙁 Can’t seem to find it in stock from any U.K. retailers unless I’ve missed it.

Do you think there will be more austins this year? Was so disappointed with their new announcement? TBH I would have ordered it if they had mentioned that it is strongly perfumed. Roses without scent is :(

@Marlorena Does Jubilee celebration look bare (towards the lower half) if planted alone? As I plant 'em in pots, I would love them to be a bit more covered with leaves.
