Don't worry, so am I! Has something to do with being only 27, I think  :D

  • Only 27 and not enough caffeine ... a confusing combination @Busy-Lizzie 🤪

  • Morning all,  misty murky here too.  Thanks for the update @punkdoc, I think we were all concerned about @Hostafan1. Fingers firmly crossed for him.

Thanks for the update @punkdoc, best wishes to Hosta when you next get to speak to him.
Worrying times for many on here - hugs to all in need.

Hope Mr @Busy-Lizzie has a good journey..... and that you are not feeling too sad without him 😢.  Combination of Covid restrictions and Brexit constraints must make it so difficult. Hope you get to spend lots of time in your new garden and exploring your new area to keep you busy.  Is there an English speaking church close to you?

Today is rose pruning day ......I might be some time 🌹✂️

Thanks @chicky. There is an English speaking church, about 10 minutes away, but no services at the moment because of Covid.

Are you able to visit the church @Busy-Lizzie ....... although I'm no longer a church goer (it used to be a big part of my life) I do find time sitting quietly on my own n a church remarkably restorative.

The fog has gone and it's a beautiful sunny morning.  OH has cycled down to the pharmacy in the village and picked up my meds.  I've prepped the veg for supper, roast potatoes and squash with pork chops and braised fennel.  I've also rootled around in the blanket chest and found some more wool for hats ... I've done nine so far ...

Morning all. Another sunny day here. I need some J.I.3 ,seeds and 2and early pots, so we are going to the GC soon after my coffee.
Glad Hosta is being looked after and hope they let him out soon. Thanks for letting us know Punkdoc.
How long will the journey be for your OH @Busy-Lizzie, bit of a trek I bet. Hopefully the Covid lockdown will ease up soon which might make things easier. Pity about the delivery men, most are very pleasant. At least you can sort out the stuff to go in the dresser.
Spoke to my daughter last night and she's still got boxes everywhere, can't seem to get organized and I think she had a wobbly few days last week. Hopefully the sunshine will help. I'm busy collecting plants I don't want or need for her new garden.

OH's mum has had a partial hip replacement which will hopefully ease her mobility problems is due course. There is some embarrassment among the various medics she had seen who failed to spot a broken hip. The ambulance which took her in was crewed by three army paramedics who took one look and said broken hip, you are definitely coming with us.
Did some guerrilla gardening yesterday. There is a bank at the bottom of our drive which the council stopped maintaining years ago. It was getting overgrown with brambles so I have cleaned it up to give the surviving daffies and primroses some air and light. The neighbours had thought it was part of our property and one had gently complained to me about the brambles so I put her right.
There is a wild seeded apple tree now growing on the bank which is lovely as the developer illegally lowered the original bank and destroyed 3 old apple trees when he built the neighbours new houses. Nature finds a way.
Got off relatively lightly with punctures and scratches from the brambles. All got scrubbed and antiseptic applied and none looking angry this morning. No waterbutts involved, @Hostafan1 hope you are recovering well.
