Fish can be wonderful @Hostafan1!  Loads of varieties, textures, possible dishes to cook.   Yum.

But not sea snails and slugs or wee shells drowned in vinegar and no raw shellfish such as oysters.
I love fish, but for the health of the Oceans and as a result of overfishing in places, I think a 10 year break from all fishing worldwide would  be environmentally helpful.

@Hostafan1 I won’t be eating fish at all after watching a recent programme. Absolutely horrific.

The large Hosta I split in to 3 some months ago only had two re-appear and they are well in to growth with some lovely large leaves now on show. The good news the third has just poked its head above ground. A late starter.

You know when you buy a bag of small frozen prawns, most of them are deveined. How do they do it it?
I saw a programme about how the eggs ( or whatever they're called) are produced commercially. It's not pleasant watching.

My first Narcissus poeticus var recurvus has opened, with many buds to follow. I knew it was a late one, but it's so late I'd almost forgotten it!
Feeling very pleased as I love daffodils and have had some in flower the whole time since early February, about half of them new plantings this year

Why is a rhino or triceratops eating a human head in the bluebells?

Yes it’s a puzzler I know rhinos are vegetarian so more likely a triceratops. Do they eat meat?

I brought  a small tray of calibrachoa (sp) yesterday and potted  them up into little pots to keep in the porch until it is safe to put them outside
    They grew overnight!

Zombie lignified rhino (they'd eat human brains)? Now there's a name for a band. An acoustic duo, wearing Fairisle sweaters - and with beards - doing covers of Mary Hopkin's songs.

Moved acers - pot-to-ground and 2 ground-to-pots - the other one (ground to pot) is a bit more 'poorly', but recovering well.
