I went to see Little Amal arrive at St Paul's Cathedral today. It was a very moving, beautiful and life-enhancing experience. She was welcomed by people of all faiths and none, a choir sang her into St Paul's and a choir of schoolchildren sang 'Consider Yourself' from Oliver! as she came out.
That did occur to me. But the point is it should be tax, it shouldn't rely on their generosity or lack of it (and of course they get tax relief on charitable donations).
'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.'
