  • In New Zealand they are trying to eradicate the non native possums.  They are lacing baited food with contraceptive,  to cut their ability to breed. Maybe we could learn from them. 
    Glad it's not just me that hates the greys, no chance down here though, haven't seen a Red since I was a child.

      I can think of a few other folk that might have benefited from that too  :D 

    @Al@"Allotment Boy" - we had a map on the forum recently which showed how devastating the 'march of the greys' has been. @Hostafan1 posted it on a thread somewhere when we had a poster who couldn't grasp the simple facts about it. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I've done the housework and a friend has just called in for tea and one of the doughnuts. Haven't seen her for a while so really good just to relax and catch up on each other's life. Made a date in the New Year to go to a large GC for fun.

    The village carol singers have just called. It’s such a lovely tradition and a cold, starry night was a perfect setting for the recital.
