The story of this man has been documented on BBC Breakfast, but it's a wonderful result for anyone who has this hideous disease.

This, however, is laugh out loud funny  :D

He is an amazing guy who actually understands what is happening to him and doesn't seem to have an ounce of self pity.  Openly saying that he forgets what's happened in his day but can remember every piece of music he's ever composed or played.

It's long been recognised that people can recall music [especially] from their youth when they have Alzheimers  @KT53, yet can't recall what happened last week. The brain is such a strange beast isn't it?   :)
I've never been a fan of Sir Tom, but this is a great result, as it will surely help that research enormously. Good on him.

Oh dear, the posh police will be after me about the Prosecco! It’s the first bottle I’ve bought for years, usually cava for me. However, I couldn’t be bothered to go back to the wine section, and grabbed a bottle from the special offers shelf by the checkout. Anyway, it was delicious, and if they still have it, I’ll buy another few bottles!
Grey and dull this morning. However we’ve been putting off the last few yards of hedge trimming, so we are going to get that done today.

I must be posh. I always assumed people who drank prosecco had children called chardonnay
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I've always preferred the flavour of Prosecco and Cava to champagne.  Just as well as round here I can't find any Oz or NZ fizz which are far better than any champagne I've tasted.

    Q. What is the difference between paraffin and petrol?
    A. There's two "f"s in paraffin ... and no "f" in petrol.

Bought a bottle of Prosecco on special offer last week, and it was delicious. I decided if they had any left at that price, I’d get some more, knowing full well that never happens to me. Popped in yesterday, and there were three bottles left, still on offer, so I grabbed them! Very chuffed at that.

I much prefer Prosecco or Cava to champagne @Ergates.  NZ fizz is even better but no chance of that here.

My RTBC?  Rain.  Bucketing down for 2 hours now and set to stay for a few more.  A good soaking then and much needed.

My RTBC is the little cyclamen hed. leaves appearing like mustard & cress in the pan I sowed them in a month or two ago.   :)
