I found that yesterday @Dovefromabove, loads of people down our lane, some talking to others being socially distanced but not leaving much room for me to do likewise either around them or through the middle. Not quite so bad this morning though. OH said the bus was quite busy coming back but the opticians at Boots very quiet as was the store generally.

  • It’s a dangerous route, @D0rdogne_Damsel! I’ve been making sourdough bread for at least a year now and I tend to eat much more bread. It’s so delicious when it’s hot! I bake it in a preheated cast iron pan with the lid on for 30 minutes and then remove the lid for the rest of the baking time.

My daughter and her husband go out walking in the early evening,  living in Cornwall they have lovely places to go.
On New Years Eve they walked to Charlestown,  she said they’re like Forest Gump. They start walking and can’t stop.  There wasn’t another soul out that night.

    RIP Michel Roux.
Indeed @Allotment Boy, but Michel Roux snd died a couple of years ago. Today we raised a glass or two of good Burgundy to dear Albert ... may he also rest in peace. Two phenomenal chefs who changed the face of eating out, and if home cooking, here in the UK. Merci Albert 🍷
