Life’s a bit tough for him at the moment ... but he knows that he’s loved 🥰

Yes @Allotment Boy  the cold can bring on an episode any change in temperature really,  heat too.  He hasn't had a bath or shower in 20 years,  only dares strip  wash daily due to the risk of the change in temperature bringing on an episode.
Thank you @AuntyRach unfortunately we live in low rent area where the council house many non English speaking residents where the covid messages don't seem to get across. We just stay in but hubby has to return to work tomorrow. Its a challenging time for many and I know we are not alone or by far the worst off but thank you for your support 😊
Have a good evening all and please take care

Anyone see the antivaccers outside St Thomas', and then you have the covid deniers, well, put them all in the ITU's then, surely they will be fine.  Talking of fines, the idiots footballers, remove a years' salary from them and yup use them to staff the hospitals, and that Zara woman from Love island, who went on holiday, then tried to nip back here, don't get me started!!

Evening all,  There seems to be a lot out there breaking the rules.  Sorry to hear about your problems @punkdoc and @WonkyWomble Not many people about here but we did hear quite a few fireworks.
Just been doing the last tidying up after putting the deccies away for another year.  First and Secondborn have been working all day today and wondering if all their endeavours will be a waste of time.  I suspect that Boris will change his mind again but as usual it will be a couple of weeks late to do any good.
Jonah is much better, his spots are less itchy and he's fine in himself.  Just waiting to see if Gabriel comes down with it now.
Sad to hear about Gerry Marsden's demise.  Due to his iconic songs he will never be forgotten.

Bless dear Gerry Marsden ... always seemed such a sound chap ... in a job where there’s plenty of people casting aspersions no one ever seemed to have a bad word to say about him ... and ‘Dont let the sun catch you crying’ ... just beautiful ... and it always makes me cry. 😢

    Night night folks 🥱

Morning everyone. We had 8mm rain in the gauge overnight - yippee!   “They” say we will get more today, but I don’t really believe they know what they’re talking about.

Off to town this morning, first time in nearly a week. We don’t need much food, but just keeping the store cupboard up.

Reading your comments about people who ignore COVID stuff, I saw on TV the other day a bloke (20s) say that he’s ok, so no worries.  I just shake my head.

Do you ever wonder how History will remember Trump?  😳🙄😂😂😂. What an idiot!

  • Good morning,

-5 degrees here this morning when I took Charlie to school at 7:30. Came back and jumped straight back into bed. 😱😁

Off out now to buy a better windscreen scraper and some healthy food, I think not salad. 😁 Fish and green vegetables in the list so far, I've got a nice recipe for fish tagline and now I think I'll get some ingredients for soup, probably a spicy red pepper and tomato and possibly a butternut squash.

Pleased to wake up with muscles not quite so tender today after my second Joe Wicks workout, I went for a walk straight after and I think that gave them chance to loosen up a bit.

Good luck with the removal men today @Busy-Lizzie , you definitely sound organized, the better you are this end the easier at the other and as someone said already, keep an eye on the kettle. 😀

Glad to hear the Grandsons are ok @Yviestevie , fingers crossed for Gabriel.

    Love your amaryllis (s) @Dovefromabove , well done @WonkyWomble

Chatted to a policewoman friend last night from the Midlands, she was on duty on NYE, she was saying about her complete zero tolerance of covid19 law breakers and how apparently someone who was hosting an illegal party on NYE was murdered by some of the guests - sadly she had no sympathy whatsoever, she just said they get what they deserved, no party, no murder possible. It's just very sad to see how drained she is by it all, constantly dealing with selfish idiots.

I'll be so glad when this is all over but we will look at fellow citizens a bit differently I think, I've certainly lost a few friends because of their attitude to these trying times.

Anyway, ever onwards, have a good day all, certainly no gardening on the cards here.

  • Morning all,  another damp grey day again.  Quite mild though. Not sure what we will do today.

Fish is on the menu here too @D0rdogne_Damsel ... OH pedalled into the village to pick up my prescription at 8am and came back with the meds, plus some salmon, fresh fruit and half a dozen eggs 👍. Think something with salmon and linguine is on the cards.
My main task today is to finish knitting my woolly hat ... all this going for walks in the cold has given me a stuffy head and I can’t find my old woolly hat ... I could wrap my head with a scarf and look like a baboushka ... but I’ve finished a woolly hat for Wonky so I’m doing one for myself now.
    This pic above is @WonkyWomble ‘s hat ... it’s in the post ... 🧶
