I thought the same @AuntyRach, the rose displayers and other summer flowers must be gnashing their teeth.

But think of the gorgeous colours of garden chrysanthemums ... maybe just what they need to nudge them back into fashion ❤️

It will be superb and a great opportunity to show just how much colour there can be in a late summer garden and a change from the ubiquitous irises, alliums and California poppies of recent years.

I’m looking forward to salvias, heleniums, rudbeckias, nerines and asters ..... hopefully more than chrysanthemums to get us excited 😜🎉🤣.  We (me and sisters 👯‍♀️ ) have tickets from May 20, rolled forward to May 21, rolled forward to Sep 21. Is looking forward to something in Sep 21 foolish?  Only time will tell....

Morning everyone.  Still misty rain here and cool for a change. 👏👏

This is the Jane McGrath rose.
It’s such a pretty colour and in my opinion, a nice choice for her remembrance. (Glen McGrath, the cricketer’s wife.)

When I brought in some broad beans today, Hubby got all keen and made Falafel.  Yum.  Looks like I won’t need any dinner tonight. 😜

Misty rain on the range all day. None on our garden though.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
That misty photo looks very atmospheric @Pat E 😊
Think I may have to give the coffee maker a nudge very soon ...

    Morning all,  afternoon @Pat E
Happy birthday 🎂  🥳 @Dovefromabove! Hope you have a lovely day! Xx
Rain has kept me awake since 3am!! Not sure it's a gardening day 😕
Nice to see you @chicky 🙂 that is certainly something to look forward to I'd say,  just seeing family at the moment is rare so sisters and Chelsea is a real treat! 😄

Thank you @WonkyWomble  🤗 They’ve said your rain will stop about 10am ... a bit later than that here ... then a bright-ish day. Hope they’re right.
The thought of a Chelsea with socially distanced crowds sounds appealing 😉 ... at least one silver lining to this horrible cloud.
