    Thanks @Lizzie27, we feel a little guilty as we are not in a vulnerable group,  but they were obviously calling people  to fill slots as others in the queue all said same as us. It wasn't at our usual surgery but not too far away (15 min drive).

    I wouldn't worry about it Allotment Boy, the more the merrier! Time for a celebratory bottle perhaps.

    Message for @Allotment Boy for when you get back : get on the paracetamol tomorrow. I’m all for last minute calls to save waste - brilliant. 

    Just making a curry and Bombay potatoes (well making the Bombay’s but cheating a bit with the curry). 

    Hope you all ok. Our morning snow forecast looks like it’s been down-graded from heavy to light. I have topped the bird food up today. 
    My garden and I live in South Wales.

    Allotment boy, you’re right about Australia Day. 😳 one day seems the same as the next. Happy birthday anyway whatever day it is. 🎉😅

    It’s stinking hot here at 11.30am, but I need to visit Mr Aldi for some essentials.

    Hiya @Pat E, it's snowing  outside and a maximum of 4C forecast here and I've got a 12 hour shift at work. Fancy swapping weather for the day?  :D

    Yeah Hosta!   I’ll be in that any time.  38 degrees is just too much. 
    The best thing we ever did was put a reverse cycle air con in the living room.👏👏

    38 is still only "very warm" hot doesn't start until 40C  :D

    I've happily sunbathed in 39C in The Gambia when most had headed for cover

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    the world is white here too @Hostafan1, but it’s not snowing ... we have a thick frost and freezing fog ... you’d probably prefer to be driving in snow rather than in this ... I know I would. Take care and stay safe 🤗
