@Hostafan1 good morning ☕️ ive got two ‘broken’ molars ... but they’re not painful and not making my tongue sore ... I’ll leave well alone for now. I really don’t want to go to my dentist in the city centre at the moment.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Pat E, did you get given any antibiotics at the time of the extraction? Usually don’t need them, but if it is still painful after a week, if it looks red or feels hot, contact your dentist for advice. Usually the socket fills with a clot, which protects it, but sometimes that can get knocked out, especially when people start rinsing in the first 24 hours. This can lead to what’s called a dry socket, which will need some cleaning and antibiotics. If it’s still gradually getting better, then hopefully it will settle down soon, and you’ll forget you ever had it done! Poor you! Keeping your head higher at night can help with sleeping too, extra pillow? Good luck.
Sell-by date @Hostafan1 and @Dovefromabove? I too have broken molars after the new chappy replaced old fillings with modern material. They went just after lockdown last year so no dentists for me either but lots of careful brushing and mouthwash, just in case. Not going back to the eejit and no new one will see me just now.
We are having "interesting" weather again today. Strong gusts of wind between a general howl level and occasional downpours. I'm starting to lose track of days passing cos I was surprised to find Saturday Kitchen on TV this morning. Lovely Cyrus T today.
Hope everyone is safe. Hugs to those who need them.

Hope your gum gets better very soon @Pat E, sounds very painful. Well done you @DOrdogne_Damsel, I really ought to start watching my weight again but don't do it in January, which is hard enough as it is. Having said that, we have brilliant sunshine and blue sky here although it's only 5c so not warm enough for gardening for me. Your weather sounds horrible Obelixx.
Hi folks, @Pat E you have my smpathies, toothache is horrible, hope it heals up soon.
We've just had a snow flurry and everything is white over the sky looks as though more is on the way.
Firstborn and her family have had a morning out at the test centre as she is feeling quite ill. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she is OK.
Been in the garden this morning moving pots and creating a space for a new storage box for the garden cushions etc. Lots of bulbs showing though but everywhere is icy so once the job was done we quickly came inside.
