Meal sounds scrumptious BL. Have you ever cooked on a ceramic hob ? My daughter's got one in her new house. I'm a bit worried about her cat jumping up on it. Have a lovely time with your family at the weekend.

Sorry @Busy-Lizzie but my phone is not smart.  It can, apparently, do emails but life is too short and the screen too small!   On my PC, after updates etc, I often have to go to Settings to remind my PC that English is my main language, French 2nd and I have a Belgian AZERTY keyboard.

Hope you have a good weekend with your family.

Same for all Forkers - a good weekend even if not with family.  Not long now if we're all sensible.

Evening all. I know it’s sleep time for you, but I wanted to just say hello. 😃

we’ve got a cloudless day, but rather chilly and windy. I’m not sure if we will have another go at the next tree over our fence. We need to be careful if it’s windy.

    Sleep well everyone.

HelloHazel. Lovely to “see” you again. Hope you and yours are ok.

We’ve been out the back of our place cutting up another tree that had fallen across our fence a few weeks ago in a big wind storm.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️

Hope Hazel @Songbird-1 got some sleep eventually.

At least you’ll have plenty of firewood @Pat E  ... I imagine that the wood burns well?

Proper snow started here about twenty minutes ago and the road gritter just went past the bottom of the Rise ... I can’t see from here whether the snow is settling, but it feels flippin’ cold so it probably is.

Yes the snow is settling ... it’s getting lighter now and we can see a white world appearing from the darkness ...

  • Morning all,

Light snow here again, more a little bit further up north but it looks like we've missed the worst of it so far. This was our lovely sunrise this morning.

It's my weekly weigh in today so having a very light breakfast for now, I am sure I won't have lost as much as last week (1.5kg) the first week is always the best, but as long as it's gone down I'll be happy and encouraged to carry on. It's not so bad really, I have done some lovely recipes, Chicken and Apricot Tagine last night, but I miss my evening apero and my wine with dinner. I plan to be strict for about a month yet and then relax a little bit. If I were able to work more in the garden it would be so much easier.

I passed these little chaps on my walk yesterday afternoon. :) One plus point of exercise.

I might clean the cobwebs from the beams in the kitchen today and then the cooker hood, quite a bit of exercise in that task.  ;)

I hope you get to sort your phone out @Busy-Lizzie if not I'm sure the grandsons will know what to do.  :)

Have a good day all, stay safe.

    Good morning and G’day all.

Take care those with snow. None here. I love a snowy scene and how it transforms the landscape, but it’s zero fun having to travel in snow and ice.

Off to SM now - catch you all later.
