Our tree is sat outside in a bucket of water and I am having to resist OH's urgings to bring it in and decorate it.   I've told him if it goes up before next weekend it'll be out again on Boxing Day so he's stopped for now.

I really dislike artificial trees - personal taste, not a rude comment - and tinsel too but I do love the bare branch and the crystal tree.   Unfortunately, having cats and dogs means I have very few such fragile decorations left and now make a lot of my own form indestructible felt and sequins and beads.

  • Why do you think I have the crystal tree now @Obelixx , no kids or dogs. 😆

I'm afraid OH would be a danger too @purplerallim.  Can't tell you how many of the glass holders or panes he's broken in assorted garden candleholders and indoor ones too.

  • I'm afraid its me who is the clumsy one @Obelixx 😊 ( balance issues) broken two mugs and glass in the last couple of weeks.😊 Hubby only breaks himself, he has slipped and broken his collar bone, three years after first doing it!🙄
  • Yes that looks lovely @Janie B😁

@JessicaS, a lovely tree but I’m curious as to what the barricade is for? My guess is either a young child or a dog - or both?😀
